Moving!

Sorry I have been MIA for awhile.  This weekend was so beautiful in Boston...finally sun and warm temperatures!  We have been lucky to live only a block from the beach.  We took advantage of it one last time today and both went for a run (well I jogged) along the water.  We then went for dinner at Tony's Clam Shack and tried to stay healthy with BLTs!  It was a beautiful day and I'll be sad to leave our place.   But we must move on...And this next week will be our last in Quincy.  We have moved all the boxes (that you see above) and large furniture to Nathan's parents' home.  They have a nice little house behind their barn so everything will stay nice and dry while we're away.  Much thanks to Mary Jo and Alex for helping us this weekend!  We couldn't of done it with out them!   We are then subletting our friend Elyssa's place in Brookline, MA and will be there through the summer.  And then...off to Togo!!  Here's some pictures of our place...all packed up and ready to go!

More French...

Although I have not been posting about French, I've been continuing to take classes, study, and do my online work through the PC. I now am signing up for a French class this summer through Tufts University. Here's the info...
I am nervous that I'm not learning enough French quick enough, but everyone keeps reassuring me that everything will fall into place once I arrive in Togo. I don't have the best track record when it comes to learning new languages proficiently. One thing is for sure, I know more now, than ever!
The real test will not only be my use of French in Togo...but also when I return to the US and talk to all my French-speaking friends ;-)

Cheese!

My friend Megan received a cheese-making kit for Christmas so this weekend we tried it out!  I know...weird...people have supposedly been laughing at her for being so...organic?!  We were nervous it wouldn't turn out, but it was GREAT!  I'm not sure exactly how this relates to Togo, but I hear I will be making my own tofu.  Maybe cheese as well?  Well, here's the results in the pictures below.  If you know anything about me, you'll know which mozzarella ball is mine ;-)  (Hint...I'm not a perfectionist!)
